"After working in childcare for many years finding a setting for our daughter was always going to be an enormous task for us. However, as soon as we stepped through the door and were welcomed by Bev, we were sold. Our little girl was so happy and comfortable and within five minutes had made a new best friend in Bev. I can not express how much passion, love and support you feel when you walk through those blue doors. The staff are so kind and caring and quickly turn into more family than teachers. It was a huge relief to find somewhere we just knew would play a huge part on her story of life. She blossomed with the support from these ladies so if you want your child to grow in confidence, kindness, knowledge and love then this is the place for you. 1000% I would recommend this incredible setting to anyone who wants the absolute best for their children."

Thanks in no small part to its incredible team of ladies (and Darryl) who keep the place running seamlessly. They look after the children with the same love, kindness, humour and compassion as if they were their own, giving you complete peace of mind that they are in the best care.

"The staff at Alec hunter preschool are friendly and supportive, working with parents at every step of their childs journey to ensure that the time the child spends at preschool is enjoyable, and that the children really feel cared for and supported in every way.
The staff are skilled at communicating anything that happens in the day that will be of interest to the parent, and they are always ready to listen to parents' worries and offer advice. The children are allocated a key worker after the staff see who they naturally gravitate towards the most, which worked really well with my son.
My son attended preschool from the term he turned two right up to starting reception. He started on half days, and with the guidance of the preschool he gradually transitioned to full days once we both felt he was ready for it. The staff were a great help at encouraging him during the toilet training stage. My son struggled to settle in but the staff were very good at setting out activities and toys they knew he would be interested in, which was a lovely gesture and worked a treat.
The children are never short of something to do, there are plenty of toys to spark their imagination, plenty of time to play out doors or various activities set up for them to join in with. My son had a very good relationship with the whole team, and a special bond with the manager and his key worker.
Their pre schools seasonal events are fun and enjoyable for children and adults alike. They teach, through play, all the different things that happen throughout the year and aim activities to current affairs as well.
Sending my son to Alec hunter pre school felt like I was giving him a treat. I was quite sad when it was his time to leave but I can honestly say im pleased I will be able to send my youngest there one day."
